Blink Video Doorbell is weatherproof: its internal seal protects it from water. The back plate allows Blink Video Doorbell to be attached to a wall and in no way impacts its weather resistance.
Blink Sync Module 2 is not included with the purchase of a Blink Video Doorbell sold alone. Without the Blink Sync Module, live video and two-way audio are only available through the app and Alexa in response to doorbell rings or motion events. You can access these features on demand by connecting your device or via a Blink Sync Module.
